As our Asset Manager, your role will provide the highest quality, adaptable support to CCI staff across diverse range of buildings spaces and services. This role manages an industry-leading equipment repairs and maintenance program and facilitates the operational support of CCI built environment including associated base-building infrastructure response and supply streams. The role acts strategically to drive sustainability, quality assurance, technical expertise, and innovation.
You will be involved in representing the interests of all Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre Stakeholder groups to identify opportunities, manage risk, create value and translate into the delivery of world-class infrastructure, technology and services within the MCCCC. Once completed in , you will support the transition as a key lead within the delivery team providing operational commissioning to MCCCC including handover & makegood, building commissioning & defects and data collation for trend analysis.
As our Asset Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a proactive and industry-leading Asset Management program for all equipment and supporting infrastructure.
- Representing the interests of all the Institute’s stakeholder groups to identify opportunities, manage risk, create value, and translate into the delivery of world-class Built Environment, Infrastructure and Services.
- Ensuring high-quality, cost-effective support and procurement en masse to CCI built environments and assets.
- Developing and implementing an innovative sustainability strategy for CCI assets and built environment.
- Planning, managing and maintaining logistical operations for current and MCCCC equipment, waste streams, fixtures, and fittings in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing the relevant budgets and provide strategic advice on forecasting and diversifying revenue streams
- Ensuring best practice and compliance in Technical Services through continued development and maintenance of industry knowledge and networks
- Collaborating with all areas of the Institute to align the built environment with the organisational vision and strategy.
To succeed you will have…
- A minimum of 5 years Technical or Management experience in Laboratory or specialist environment settings
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage others
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience managing commercial agreements
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results through superior teamwork
- Evidence of extensive project management experience
