The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Area Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Wodonga Office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our business adheres to disability care compliance, training, and quality requirements under the NDIS Practice Standards. You will provide consultation, mentoring, training, and advice to support workers, working closely with the Regional Manager, Service Coordinators, and Support Workers to achieve optimal care outcomes for each participant.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic participant care
- Maintain and develop positive stakeholder relationships
- Coordinate stakeholder home visits
- Ensure a high standard of service delivery to participants
- Effectively manage house teams
- Ensure timely submission of all charts and relevant documentation to the Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Participate in an on-call roster (mandatory requirement)
Skills and Essential Requirements
- Satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Right to work in Australia.
- Current Drivers Licence and a willingness to drive BET’s or own vehicle for work purposes.
- Tertiary qualification in Disability/ Social Work / Health/ Behavioural Sciences or another related field
- Proficient in using IT systems and software for report writing and documentation
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
