We have an opening for an experienced Airleg Miner with an immediate start.

The position will require self-motivation, drive, and multi-skilling. The ideal candidate should be proactive, and forward thinking, with a with strong ability to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within a team environment.

Preferred Criteria Includes

• Must have full working rights in Australia
• 5-10 years experience in underground Handheld Mining
• Extensive working knowledge of handheld mining techniques
• Current & valid Australian Drivers Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Safe Working at Heights
• Current & valid Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Current & valid Shotfirers Licence
• Preferred candidates reside in Western Australia

Responsibilities

• Use a rock-drill machine and air-leg to drill development rises and other associated tasks that are required according to mine design by our Client
• Scaling and installing ground control according to site and area requirements
• Handling and transporting explosives to the working area

The successful candidate will need to be physically fit and meet pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening and full medical prior to an offer of employment being made
