About the Role

Liebherr-Australias Mining Division has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced AHS Technician required for OAK retro fit program for T264 dump truck fleet. Reporting to the Project Manager (AHS), you will provide safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, repair, maintenance, component replacement, calibration and commissioning services to the Divisions customer base. This is a permanent FIFO site based role from Perth on 8/6 – 7/7 Rotating Roster doing days and nights.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide installation, commissioning, diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services
  • Commission AHS Equipment and execute AHS commissioning, validation and test plans.
  • Classify and prioritize support service requests, generate service requests, and provide fault causes and resolutions status.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manuals.
  • Maintain, test, commission, and repair electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, repair, maintain, and overhaul electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Implement and lead change management processes for software and hardware rollouts.
  • Develop and review work products and documentation associated with AHS operation and maintenance.
  • Research and analyse onboard AHS system data and provide guidance to onboard technicians and feedback to factory engineering teams.
  • Request and order parts.
  • Ensure tasks are completed safely, within the required timeframe, and in accordance with specified work instructions.
  • Perform breakdown maintenance, repairs and calibration of field devices associated with the Fleet Management (FMS), Traffic Management (TMS), Telecommunications, Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle Awareness (VAS), High Precision Machine Guidance and Onboard Perception and Robotics Systems
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and manuals
  • Maintain, test, commission and repair electrical/electronic equipment
  • Diagnose faults, repair, maintain and overhaul electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components
  • Running adjustments to mechanical and or electrical/electronic equipment

Key Criteria:

  • Certificate III Electrotechnology (HV)
  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
  • Heavy mobile equipment experience
  • Experience with Autonomous Mining Systems
  • Liebherr mining equipment experience
  • Current C Class Drivers License
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • High Risk Licenses; LF, DG, EWP
