Our client
As one of the largest employers in the NT, our client who supply the water and electricity generation and retail services across the region are currently seeking to fill a number of senior administration roles supporting various business units across the organisation commencing on a 6 month labour hire term.
Position Overview
Respond to customer enquiries regarding sewage and water faults over the telephone, arrange remedial services, and record details of faults, confined space, and pump station entry for Alice Springs Urban and Remote teams.
Key Responsibilities
Record and assign all water and sewage system complaints and faults for the southern region.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on water outages, major events, and maintain a site attendance register.
Coordinate staff travel requests and manage office stationery inventory.
Oversee approvals and payment processes for sewer and water plumbing reimbursements.
Maintain compliance regarding safety and environmental policies, corporate values, and behaviours.

Strong self-motivation, initiative, and ability to thrive under pressure.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, with tact and discretion in handling challenging situations.
Experience in reception or front-office roles, with competency in office software and data entry systems.
High-level interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive matters confidentially.
Demonstrated experience in customer service or handling customer complaints.
Proficiency in MS Office, computers and ability to learn and adapt to programs quickly
Familiarity with corporate practices, electronic document management and water/sewage operations highly regarded
