As one of the largest employers in the NT, our client who supply the water, electricity generation and retail services across the region are currently seeking a professional and organised senior administrator to provide office support to the wider team.
Overview
Are you a dynamic professional with a knack for keeping operations running smoothly? We are seeking a senior Admin Officer on an ongoing temporary basis to provide essential advice, administrative support, and coordination services to the corporate business unit and senior manager. Ensure high levels of communication and functionality within the business, and manage all clerical and administrative duties with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage office supplies, organise meetings, conferences, travel and training events.
Conduct research, provide reports, assist with staff enquiries, and act as the liaison for key stakeholders.
Offer advice and support on purchasing and procurement, ensuring compliance with financial legislation.
Procure protective equipment, and process requisitions and invoices accurately.
Monitor and coordinate corporate processes.
Oversee record management and maintain accurate data using approved company systems.
Diary, calendar, scheduling of appointments, meeting support
Provide adhoc admin support as directed by the Senior Manager
Skills / Experience:
Minimum 5-yrs in administrative and reception duties, proficient computer skills, use of databases, and record management systems.
Maintain confidentiality, using sound judgment, tact, and discretion with colleagues and clients.
Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritise, be flexible, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail, enabling effective interaction with staff at all levels.
Understanding of financial and procurement procedures.
Tech-Savvy, proficient use of MS Office including strong Excel.
Own vehicle and current police clearance
