ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable accounts person that works well in a collaborative environment. You must be proficient in multitasking and come with a positive and proactive attitude. A background in bookkeeping and general accounts is desirable.
DUTIES:

  • Accounts payable including processing high volume of supplier invoice
  • Reconciling supplier invoices against monthly statements
  • Completion of new supplier credit application forms
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
  • Purchase order matching and monitoring
  • Processing of expense reimbursement claims
  • Addressing customer and supplier account queries
  • Assisting with internal reporting requirements
  • Providing accounts administrative support, including database entry
  • Allocation of invoices for approval and follow up
  • Preparation of vendor batches
  • Month end reporting and data entry assistance
  • Ensuring customer and supplier queries are followed up and answered in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance team and attend regular meetings

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • months experience in similar accounts and administration role
  • Experience with Xero (or similar) and project management software an advantage
  • A genuine interest and understanding of administration and accounts principals
  • Excellent attention to details, time management and communication skills
