Located at Wingfield, Cavpower provides premium quality service to construction, industrial, mining, government and building customers. We are now seeking a qualified A-Class Electrician to join our team of CAT specialists in our Power Systems Division.
The successful applicant will have experience with mechanical, industrial, marine and generator engines. You must be able to work unsupervised and extended hours when required in a field or workshop environment giving you exposure to some of the most unique CAT equipment in the industry.
With your ‘A’ Class Electrical qualification and combined experience in the power generation sector and related control systems, this role offers variety, stability and a great team environment – all this with the industry market leader!
Your responsibilities will include complete electrical diagnosis and repair, service runs, fabrication, repairs and routine maintenance on generator assemblies, industrial and marine engines and control systems installations and maintenance, all while working to the highest of company standards.
Skills and Experience:
- A-Class Electrical qualification essential
- Dual Trade with Heavy Vehicle, Mobile Equipment an advantage
- Experience with solar or renewable energy preferred
- A current and valid Drivers License
- Sound mechanical knowledge preferably with experience in power generation and industrial/marine electrical and control systems
- Good customer service skills
- Technical diagnostic skills and computer literacy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- An ability to work remotely for extended periods.
